Core concepts to help you get the most out of AfriVote.

Organizations

The top-level entity on AfriVote. An organization (a company, school, church, union, etc.) has its own members, admins, elections, events, and campaigns.

Elections

Created by an organization admin. Define candidates or ballot questions, eligibility rules, and a voting window. Members vote once the election opens.

Events

Ticketed or free gatherings hosted by an organization, with registration tracked per member.

Tickets

Purchased against an event's ticket types. Availability is tracked in real time as tickets sell.

Campaigns

Fundraising or advocacy campaigns run by an organization, with contribution tracking.

Wallet

Your personal record of transactions across the platform — ticket purchases, campaign contributions, and refunds.

Getting started

  1. Create an account, or sign in if you already have one.
  2. Join an existing organization (via an invite link from an admin), or create your own organization if you're setting one up for the first time.
  3. As an org admin, create your first election, event, or campaign from your organization dashboard.
  4. Members can then vote, register, or contribute from their own dashboard.
