Cookie Policy
How AfriVote uses cookies and similar technologies.
Last updated: August 2026
1. What cookies we use
AfriVote uses a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your session (for example, an authentication token stored securely in your browser). We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
2. Essential cookies
These are required for the platform to function — for example, keeping you logged in as you move between pages, and remembering basic preferences like your theme (light/dark mode). You can't opt out of these without losing the ability to use the platform normally.
3. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to understand how the platform is used (for example, which pages are most visited) so we can improve it. This data is not used to build advertising profiles.
4. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will likely prevent you from staying signed in to AfriVote.
See also our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data more broadly.
